The Defense of Environment Committee Meeting Audio Report-May 10th 2019

The Defense of Environment Committee Meeting was held on May 10th at 19.30 o’clock to the Central European time with participation of Committee members, human rights activists and other guests in Paltak cyberspace.

This meeting started with the report and analysis of environmental human rights violations in Farvardin 1398, and after that The Ramsar Convention from the perspective of international environmental law was discussed, The Environmental problems in Iran is also analyzed and discussed, We also had a speech about the Government and natural disasters in Iran.

Aperture to Awareness Audio Clip (Worker and Career security)

It was the International Labor Day Protest in front of the Iranian Parliament, which has been violently attacked by the security forces. According to the pursuit of the labor organizations the number of detainees of this day announced at least 35 person. The assembly has been held in front of the Parliament on the Ordibehesht 11th ( May 1 ). According to 20th article of the Human Rights Universal Declaration and 27th fundamental laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran non-violent protest are allowed. but Any labor gathering in Iran has always been repressed by security forces. but it is noteworthy that there have been no legal licenses to celebrating this day in the last 40 years. 

In accordance with 63rd article of the Labor Act, the Ordibehesht 11th ( May 1 ) is an official holiday for workers in the Iran official calendar. But benefits and wages of work or idleness (holidays) days will not pay to Iranian workers and They are constantly seeking for their own delayed wages. Continue reading
