The 18 Tir incident or the attack on the dormitory of the University of Tehran , in fact, clashes between days Friday the 9th until Wednesday the 14 July 1999 between students and law enforcement and people known as the personal clothes of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran(People who work anonymously for the government of the Islamic Republic) which group of human rights activists in Iran believes that seven people were killed in the incident. A student eye was also evacuated after being shot in the eye,
The arms and legs of some people were broken and a large number of students were beaten and arrested. This incident is also mentioned as the biggest challenge of the student movement in Iran after the 1979 revolution.
