Unfortunately, as the consequence of the weak-minded actions of the officials of the Islamic Republic, such as, the inattention to the basic needs and age requirements of the children and adolescents on one hand, and reduction of the power of the families to provide the needs of their children, due to catastrophic financial condition, on the other hand, has significantly increased the suicide rate of the Iranian adolescents.
Based on the official reports, only during 3 weeks, more than 21 child and adolescent, have committed suicide in the different cities of Iran.
Saturday, December 20: Mohammad Veysi, 12 years old, from Joujar village, suburb of Salas Babajani city, hanged himself and died.
Friday, January 1: Narges Motaleb Pour, 16 years old teenager from Tehran, committed suicide by rope.
Tuesday, January 5: Tara Tamarkhani, 13 years old from Sarpol Zahab, hanged herself.
Wednesday, January 6: Aras Mohammad Amini, 16 years old boy from saghez, committed suicide.
Coroner and Medical Examiner Organization announced that: the suicide share of the teenagers of Iran is more than 7 percent of the population.
This result is only part of the efforts of the government which is full of injustice, violence, insecurity, poverty, misery, disappointment, addiction, labor children, suicide because of hunger and poverty, torture and execution, especially in the deprived areas and among the poor class of society.
These are the consequences of violating the 3, 4, 12, 14, 15 articles of the Convention on the Rights of Child and 1, 2, 3, 4 goals of UNESCO`s 2030 Agenda.
