Extensive and Continuous Pain in the Sport of Iran

Adel Ferdosi Pour: “Truly, I did not have any answer to my students in that moment”.

A brief and painful answer which explains the helplessness of a university lecturer and the best sport analyzer of Iran to answer his students’ question “the choose between remaining or leaving the Iran” because:

Navid Zanganeh” a bashful wrestler, who was attacked by security forces with fowling piece in the protests of Aban 98, has immigrated to Canada, and “Alireza Firouzja“, the world genius chess player, has declared that he will not compete in any match under the Islamic Republic of Iran flag. The news around the leaving  the sport competitions, by Wrestling, Swordsmanship, Taekwondo, Handball, Canoeing, Chess and … athletes is not a new event, especially in the last few months, because as the consequence of the intolerable environment of sport, even the Paralympic champions, in a new wave, are preferring to tolerate the difficult way of living in another country, in order to gain respect and dignity which they are deserving.

Mohsen Kaeidi” and “Mohammad Khalvandi“, Paralympic medalists in track and field, have left the country, right after the execution of “Navid Afkari“, the competent and medalist wrestler of Iran.

Unfortunately, Islamic republic of Iran impels the athletes to leave the country or leads them to isolation. For instance, “Ali Ghorbani”, the Iranian football player, has changed his nationality and he will play with the “Azerbaijan” sport shirt, he is “Perspiring” and Iranians are “Crying”. Accordingly, we, with regards to the Olympic Charter, according to the 1, 2, 22 articles of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and also 17th goal of UNESCO`s 2030 Agenda, demanding the restoration of the basic rights of the athletes, cutting the influence of the security, political and religious organization in the sport of Iran, and we obliged the government of Islamic Republic of Iran to execute all the international laws related to the sport.
