On the contrary of the 50th principle of the Iran`s Constitution, Islamic Republic of Iran, not only does not act properly to protect the environment of Iran, but also, by arresting, imprisoning and torturing the environmental activists, is causing a lot of damages to the environment of Iran such as: drying the wetlands, selling the soil of Iran to other countries, death of the rivers by anomalous entrance of the industrial, agricultural, hospital and city sewages, illegal haunting, transmission of Karoun`s water to other lakes, air pollution with deficiency of healthy drinkable water, chaotic condition of zoos, extinction of rare animals, 25 years contract between Iran and China on the enjoyment of aquatic organisms of Persian Gulf, extensive conflagrations in the forests all over the country, and etc.
Government officials of Iran, not only disregarding the 50th principle of the Iran`s Constitution and 6th, 14th and 15th goals of UNESCO`s 2030 agenda, but also, convicting male and female activists and some of environmental activists on the false accusations such as: spying, taking action against the national security, cooperating with American Government and etc.
We are reminding that, based on Article 5 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and with special attention to epidemic of the Corona Virus at the prisons of Iran, lack of hygienic and medical facilities in order to protect the life of prisoners and …., the Government of Islamic Republic of Iran should unconditionally free all of the environmental activists. Moreover, none of the citizens should not be arresting, torturing or interrogating, only as the repercussion of protecting theirs or Iran`s future children habitat.
