According to the 10th Principle of the the Islamic Republic Constitution, Family is the fundamental unit of the society and also is the main center of the human development. All the regulations and arrangements of the State should be for the promotion and strength of the family foundation. However, according to the Registration organization statistics in 1396, the number of divorces had reached about 175 thousand, which is the highest registered Statistics in the history of Iran. According to 19th Article of the Human Rights Universal Declaration, family is the natural and fundamental pillar of society and has the right to benefit from the protection of society and the government.
