{"id":610,"date":"2015-05-17T09:06:33","date_gmt":"2015-05-17T09:06:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/english.bashariyat.org\/?p=610"},"modified":"2015-05-17T09:06:33","modified_gmt":"2015-05-17T09:06:33","slug":"omid-alishenas-and-aso-rostami-refused-to-attend-the-court-session","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.bashariyat.org\/?p=610","title":{"rendered":"Omid Alishenas and Aso Rostami Refused to Attend the Court Session"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Omid Alishenas and Aso Rostami, two political prisoners at Evin prison, were not sent to the court, as they refused to wear prison clothes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/english.bashariyat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/omid-alishenas-aso-rostami.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-611\" src=\"http:\/\/english.bashariyat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/omid-alishenas-aso-rostami-300x237.jpg\" alt=\"omid-alishenas-aso-rostami\" width=\"300\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/english.bashariyat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/omid-alishenas-aso-rostami-300x237.jpg 300w, https:\/\/english.bashariyat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/omid-alishenas-aso-rostami.jpg 380w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these two prisoners of ward 8 of Evin prison, were supposed to be transferred to the court on Sunday morning, 10<sup>th<\/sup> May, for notification of their sentence, but as they refused to wear the prison clothes, the relevant agents Avoided to take them to the court and transferred them back to ward 8.<span id=\"more-13003\"><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to one of prisoners\u2019 relatives, they have stated that they refused to wear prison clothes, because this duress is illegal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This source told HRANA\u2019s reporter: \u201cThe morning that they were supposed to be sent to the court, they dressed and were ready, but at the ward door, they have been ordered to wear prison clothes and they refused to do so, because it is illegal, so that they were not sent to the court.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Omid Alishenas, civil activist, was arrested on 4<sup>th<\/sup> September and was transferred to ward 2-A of Iranian Revolutionary Guards, and although a bail of 100 million Rials was issued for him, unfortunately, the primitive court, also earlier, prosecutor office, for unknown reasons refused to accept the bail.
