In January and February 2018 in Tehran, they fought against security forces. In a tension between police and Dervishes, 3 police officers and 2 of Basij forces were killed and 300 Dervishes were arrested. The fight started because of the limitation that the government put on visiting their leader, Nourali Tabande. These limitations were the new start of harassment against Dervishes across the country. These harassments continued so that the security forces wanted to surround the Dervishes leader\u2019s house (Doctor Tanabande, a 90 year-old man) with the charge of acting against national security.
