The Situation of Baha’is Community in Iran<\/div>\n

The persecution of Baha’is from the beginning of the revolution of regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran is happening untill today and now with collaboration of the government and religious Shias leaders it has increased, and become the official policy of the regime in war and struggle against the Baha’is community in Iran.<\/div>\n

Since the start of Islamic revolution the Baha’is repression has been accompanied by Shias clerics and as a result, the clerics set up some special institution to fight with them, including the occupation and destruction of financial institutions, killing, destruction and burning of their houses.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Some examples are; Massacre of the Baha’is in Shiraz, Confiscation of property which are belongs to the Baha’is community, Confiscation and destruction of religious places and Baha’is cemeteries, Imprisonment and torture of Baha’is, Expulsion of Baha’is, Denial of employment in government jobs, Creating pressure on business owners to expel Baha’is employees, Non-payment of pension and issuance of a ruling to restore the Baha’is previous salary, Closing their shops and businesses, Deprivation of education in schools and universities, Preventing registration of marriage, Preventing the issuance of permits to burial, Confiscation of the personal property, Judicial immunity for the aggressors of Baha’is rights, Beatings, Kidnapping, Unjustified execution, Propaganda and hate spreading against to the Baha’is community.<\/div>\n

In the regime of Islamic Republic of Iran, the persecution of Baha’is is legal. In last four years the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran has closed the Baha’is cemetery in Ahvaz city and made a wall in front of that. The Human Rights Documentation Center, announced, in the last year the regime of Iran has prevented at least 44 Baha’is citizens families to burial in (Vadi Rahmat) cemetery in Tabriz city and noticed that; The authorities of this cemetery has been prevented and prohibited the Baha’is from their religious performance and the bodies of Baha’is citizens after few days without prior notice to their family have been buried in the city of Miyandoab which is having 170 kilometers distance from Tabriz.<\/div>\n

Exhumation and stealing the body of Miss. Shamsi Aghdasi Azamian, from the Baha’is cemetery in Gilanvand in 24, October 2018 by the unknown people and abonden in desert near to the Jaban village is another example of the Anti-human action of regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Baha’is community.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It’s noticed that recently the intelligence agency has informed to the Baha’is who are living in Gilanvand that they do not have right for burial in this cemetery and the burial and funeral should be done in Tehran, which it means confiscation of Baha’is cemetery and even deprivation of Baha’is from the burial in their hometown and all these activities are;<\/div>\n
Oppression, Injustice, Imprisonment, Banishment, Harrassment, Torture, Persecution, and……<\/div>\n

We declare all these activities which are “Religious Fanaticism” and “Despicable” are recognize as a shameful actions and deserve the judicial follow up.<\/div>\n

According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights;<\/div>\n
Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.<\/div>\n
Article 2: Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.<\/div>\n
Article 3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.<\/div>\n
Article 6: Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.<\/div>\n
Article 18: Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief and freedom either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.<\/div>\n
Article 19: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
this rights includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.<\/div>\n
Article 26.1: Everyone has right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages.<\/div>\n
