December 1st, The Commemorate of world AIDS Day Audio and Video Clip

AIDS or acquired immune deficiency syndrome, is a disease that causes the failure of immune system to fight certain infections. The red ribbon, is a symbol of unity with people who are living with AIDS and having AIDS.

About 60% of people with this virus are unaware of HIV virus in their bodies. The Person who is Infected with AIDS, carries the virus in specific fluids in his body, including blood, milk, and etc. The virus can only be transmitted if AIDS infected person fluids enter to another person bloodstream. For this reason, physical interactions such as shaking hands, hugging and sitting next to these patients doesn’t have any danger to another person. Usually, the AIDS virus transmitting with one of these ways: 1. Unprotected Sexual intercourse with an AIDS infected person 2. Using a needle or syringe of an AIDS infected person 3. Transmission a virus by infected mother to child (Fetus or Infant). The main ways for a virus transmission in last two years is sex. The reasons that AIDS percentage in Iran has been increased are: lack of proper education and information about the way of transmission of this disease (especially young people), infected blood transfusions to the patients and lack of hygiene in the health centers and hospitals (Chenar Mahmoudi village incidents in Lordegan 1398), increase in divorce cases and having sex outside the family, increase of poverty and increase of the forced prostitution of women and men for living, insufficient supervision on prisons health conditions and availability of drugs in prisons for injecting addicts, lack of significant places under supervision of health organizations for men and boys who are willing to have a sex, it has made women who are having multiple sexual partners to have sex with many men ( without health card). The United Nations commission in resolution no: 2001/33 access to medicines for communicable diseases such as AIDS and the highest standards of physical and mental health are rights for everyone.

AIDS is a type of illness which is having strange loneliness, so try to reduce their loneliness and make their living conditions easier with proper education, awareness of disease and behavior modification in dealing with patients. Doctors and scientists was able to eradicate this disease twice (between 2008 and 2019) by using bone marrow transplants from the bodies of two American and British citizens, but unfortunately more than forty years have passed since AIDS emerged. The world has not yet found a cure for the disease.
