The purpose of naming the international Non-Violence day is to promote the peace culture, tolerance and understanding in regional organizations, non-governmental organizations and between the individuals.
Types of Violence: Social Violence, Psychological and Verbal Violence, Economic Violence, Physical Violence and Domestic Violence. According to the world ranking report which has done by Gallup Organization, due to the different types of violence which are happening in Iran, it’s at the fifth rank and is also in the list of worst performing countries in the terms of happiness. The torturing is one of the main Human Rights violation in Iran and article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights clearly emphasized on that.
The demonstration in the year 1388, teacher’s, driver’s, worker’s protests and demonstration of those who are lose their invested capital in financial institutions all with police violent encounter has been suppressed. The arresting of the people which are attending the 1388 street protest and torture them in Kahrizak prison and unfortunately few of them has been murdered. Inhuman torture of the Mr.Maziyar Ebrahimi along with another fifty seven persons who are arrested and accused in nuclear scientists assassination case, which we have seen many of the international forums has protested against that. These are only few cases of the human rights violation activities in the Islamic Republic of Iran regime.
