Iran Environmental Rights Violations Statistical Report-Feb 2019
In Esfand 1397 continued to witness several violations of environmental rights , including the new wave of the environmental activists arrestment in the Kurdistan provinces and Charmahal and Bakhtiari provinces. On the other hand, the environmental activists trial in the Revolutionary Court, behind closed doors and without the right to have a personal lawyer, went on false accusations that even the Iranian president thought it was unnecessary. Moreover , the flow of the Caspian Sea water transmission plan was approved in Semnan, like the previous project in environmental manipulation , the transition is expected not only to solve the province ‘s agricultural problems , but also damage the Caspian Sea ecosystem in the long run.
