cap1

Iran is not a member of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women since:

Guardian Council jurists mentioned Convention contrary to the principles of Islam!

But the Guardian Council approved third party insurance compensation payments!!! Men and women were equal?

UN General Assembly’s 1967 Declaration on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women in a leaflet entitled, equality of women in economic and social life, especially in the field of employment (access to vocational training, employment, promotion, equal pay, etc.) highlighted and recommended that the expulsion from work as a result of marriage or pregnancy be banned.

But Iran is not!

We know well that Iran’s joining the Convention, women’s legal problems will not go away soon, but certainly the laws included in it

We know well that Iran’s joining the Convention, women’s legal problems will not go away soon, but certainly the laws included in it, Legal instruments would be appropriate to assess the dignity and honor of women’s discriminatory laws that have long been ridiculed.
