Persian is the official and common language and script of the people of Iran. The documents, correspondence, official texts, and schoolbooks must all be in this language and script. However, use of regional and ethnic languages in the press, the mass media, and the teaching of their literature at schools, alongside the Persian language, is freely permitted.
In violation of Article 15 of the constitution of Islamic Republic, officials emphasize reading, writing, and speaking the native language is considered prejudicial to national interests and territorial integrity, as a pretext for secession. For this reason, refuse to recognize such a right.
Libertarians and liberals know that:
Multilingual country, but opponents of equal rights in the Iranian languages, Persian, the language of the “official”, “national” and the “principal components of Iranian identity” and “national unity” to be seen.
